Ballinderreen Hurling and Camogie Club is saddened to hear of the tragic and untimely passing of former Galway hurler Michael Coleman.
Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife Mary, daughter Sinead, son Dara and their extended family and friends and all those in Abbeyknockmoy GAA.
Michael hurled with distinction for both club and county. He won an u-21 All-Ireland in 1983 before winning a senior All-Ireland in 1988. He captained Galway when they won the league in 1996. He was selected as an All Star 3 times and won a county title with his club Abbeyknockmoy in 1989.
